For us, resource-saving production is not a trend but a deliberate business decision — with concrete steps in our materials and at our Bad Salzuflen site.

Resources in a closed loop

We take a holistic view of responsibility — from the material we use and our production to our site. Three approaches that are already standard practice with us today:

PCR instead of virgin material

For many products we offer PCR options (post-consumer recycled material) as an alternative to virgin material — with no compromise on quality, stability or function. We are continuously expanding this offer.

Closed material loop

We feed production scrap directly back into the material loop and use it again. This keeps material in circulation instead of turning it into waste.

Our own solar power

A photovoltaic system at our Bad Salzuflen site covers part of our electricity needs and permanently reduces our CO₂ emissions.

In production

PCR material in injection moulding and thermoforming

We process post-consumer recycled material in both production processes — in injection moulding as well as in thermoforming. This means recycled material can be used for many applications without giving up the right process.

What is PCR?

PCR stands for post-consumer recycled material — plastic that is recovered from used and collected packaging and reprocessed. It replaces part of the virgin material and keeps material in the loop.

Is PCR as good as virgin material?

For many products we offer PCR options with no compromise on quality, stability or function. Together with you, we check whether recycled material is suitable for your specific application.

Can I get PCR for my product?

Post-consumer recycled material is possible for many applications — in injection moulding as well as in thermoforming. Talk to us: we assess its suitability for your product and are continuously expanding our PCR offer.
