Digital PrintingIdeal for small series. Big impact.

Flexible finishing for individual designs and versions

We use digital printing directly on our packaging and produce detailed print images with a high degree of design freedom. This allows smaller series and individual designs to be implemented flexibly.

Ideal for small batches

Ready to go quickly, even for small quantities.

Rich in detail

Multicolour, detailed designs on our packaging.

Everything from a single source

Packaging and printing direct from the manufacturer.

Digital printing on plastic – flexible and detailed

In digital printing, your design is built up on the packaging directly from the print data. With no upstream tooling, there is no effort for screens or clichés – which makes even small quantities and short-notice design changes cost-effective.

Fine gradients, many colours and small details can be reproduced true to life. Each package can carry a different version, for example for product lines, language versions or special batches.

We print the flat surfaces of our packaging range, matched to material and print position. On request, you receive your product directly in your individual design (private labelling).

FAQ on digital printing

What is digital printing?
Digital printing is a finishing process in which the design is applied to the plastic surface directly from the print data – without upstream tooling such as a screen. This allows detailed, multicolour designs to be implemented flexibly, which is a particular advantage for smaller series and individual designs.
What is the difference between digital printing and screen printing?
Digital printing shows its strengths with small quantities, multicolour or photorealistic designs and a wide variety of versions, as no screen needs to be made. Screen printing delivers particularly opaque, robust and durable results and is cost-effective for recurring, larger print runs. Which process is right depends on design, quantity, substrate and durability requirements.
From what print run is digital printing worthwhile?
Digital printing is particularly worthwhile for small to medium print runs and for frequently changing designs, as no screens or tooling need to be made. For very large, recurring print runs, screen printing can be more cost-effective. Tell us what you need in your enquiry – together we will find the most cost-effective solution.
How durable is digital printing?
When used properly, digital printing on our packaging is highly resistant to normal handling. How scratch- and smudge-resistant the print is in a specific application depends on material, design and stress. For particularly heavily stressed or permanently opaque markings, screen printing can be the more robust choice – we will be happy to advise you in advance.
On which surfaces is digital printing possible?
Digital printing is suitable for even, flat surfaces of our packaging. Which substrates, inks and pre-treatments are suitable depends on the material; we clarify this with you in advance.
What documents do you need for a print enquiry?
Ideally, send us your logo or design as a vector file (e.g. AI, EPS or PDF) or as a high-resolution image file, together with details of colours, print position, quantity and product. If only pixel data are available, we check their suitability and help you prepare them for print.
